GREAT COMEDY DEBATE: WELLINGTON, NZ 2001

These are captures from 2001's Great Comedy Debate held in Wellington in November and televised on TV 3 NZ. Craig was team leader of the men. It was men vs. women in a moot: We Need More Woman On Top. The men knew they were in trouble right from the beginning.
This is also the final debate I have with Kevin Smith. Kev passed away Feb. 16, 2002 after an accidental fall from a movie set in China. I don't know if he did anymore debates after this one. He was a great comic debator and this debate showed how he could take the ribbing from the women about his beefcake image and in turn tease himself about it. He will be missed in the future debates.

The teams:
Men(Of course the negative team)-Craig Parker (leader)/Oscar Kightley/Kevin Smith
Women:(most definately the affirmative team)-Ginette McDonald (leader)/Rebecca Hobbs/Cal Wilson

NOTE: a texture filter was used in some photos to enhance and clean up the detail.
